About me

I am an ex-professional footballer and currently a personal trainer and sports massage therapist. I retired from football due to injuries but still love to keep my body fit, healthy and in tip-top condition. I love a challenge and although my injuries should prevent me from doing a lot of activities, I won’t be held down and I’ll train ’til I drop!

I always give 100% in everything I do and I believe nothing is impossible if you set your mind to it and work hard enough to achieve it. There is no room for giving up and I don’t do things by halves! I like to be a winner so if I set my mind to doing something, I don’t stop until I succeed. When I train I like to take my body to the limit and then push it a little more! Progression is the key to success, don’t be satisfied with being average……..push it harder and be the BEST!

  1. I’m glad you had a more productive week this week. That 10 mile time is something to be proud of. I like the look of that bicycle hip flexor exercise. My hip joins are aching lots after all the is running and I wondered if it was down to a weak core? Keep up the good work 🙂

    • Thanks. Yes it was a little more productive and some pretty good times too.

Having a strong core is always good for running and the single leg bicycle hip flexion will definitely help towards a strong core and hip flexors. The hip flexors play a big part in running so making them stronger is always a good idea if you want to run more and more. I might have a few more exercises on my youtube channel that can help you. Have a browse : )

      Thanks for your comment.
